2018 Fetherston Chardonnay
'Fruit sourced from Gembrook, Dixons Creek and Coldstream, each with different clones. Fermented wild on full solids, aged for 8 months in French puncheons, 28% new. There's an easy, unforced complexity to this wine and a sense of balance. Stone fruit, nutty oak, minerality and creaminess of texture all play their part. Fine acidity too.'

'Struck match, nectarine, grapefruit and cashew nut. It’s silky, juicy, a little saline, citrus cut of acidity, smoky flinty highlights, along with some gloss and glide, fruit flavour is assured and the finish is has energy and ripe grapefruit tang to close. Nicely done. Layered and very tasty.'
