WINEMAKING:  Crafted from three parcels of premium Yarra Valley fruit with an average vine age of 25 years.  Hand-picked in early March, the fruit was whole-bunch pressed, lightly settled, then fermented in a mixture of new (18%) and older French oak barriques and puncheons. This wine was matured for nine months with minimal bâtonnage before bottling.


TASTING NOTE:  Lemon yellow in colour, this wine delivers aromas of nectarine, struck match and grapefruit with subtle hints of spicy oak.  The palate delivers fine quartz-like texture with an array of juicy citrus, stonefruits and elderflower. The finish is long, full and satisfying with delicate, yet invigorating acidity.
