'Gold straw in the glass. Fragrant from the first pour, with lifted aromatics of white florals and citrus blossom leading into a vibrant palate layered with tropical fruit, fresh lime and citrus, gently framed by soft honeyed nuances. There's pleasing texture and weight, with a seamless, even flow and well-judged balance carrying through to a refined finish. Effortless, contemporary Yarra Chardonnay with strong drink-now appeal.'

'Restrained and gorgeously styled, the bouquet shows white-fleshed peach, lemon pith, crunchy apple, and almond meal aromas, leading to a concentrated palate offering awesome weight and persistence. The wine is wonderfully textured with focus and drive, beautifully supported by finely pitched acidity, with a sustained, refined finish.'

'White peach, grapefruit, a little almond meal, spice, aniseed and seaweed, slight struck match. It's a bright wine, a nutty and saline flavour, a little zing and citrus peel here, some green olive, a light chalkiness to texture, with a zesty finish of good length. This has a lot of energy and go. Very nice. And it's very well made.'

'A blend 82/18% chardonnay from Centare vineyard (Healesville) and the Swallowfield vineyard in Gembrook. The result is a brightly coloured wine redolent of white peach, a little vanillin from the oak and a touch of sea spray. Generous on the front of the palate, finishing saline and taut. A wine that should start hitting it's straps in 2026.'
