WINEMAKING: Hand-picked fruit from four exquisite Yarra Valley vineyards and three chardonnay clones. Whole-bunch pressed and fermented wild in French oak barriques and puncheons (12% new) with zero malolactic fermentation. This wine saw eight months élevage with zero bâttonage prior to bottling in December 2023.
TASTING NOTES: Green gold in colour, this wine delivers aromas of nectarine, meyer lemon and flint with a burst of spring blossoms. The palate delivers an array of summer stone fruits, cashew nuts, subtle oak and a splash of sea spray. It's ripe and supple in the mouth, finishing with bright, balancing acidity.
