VINEYARD: Bettio Vineyard, King Valley, Victoria
WINEMAKING: Single vineyard Albariño from Bettio vineyard, King Kalley. After harvest, the fruit spent 18 hours on skins before being pressed with full solids and fermented in neutral French puncheons. Aged on lees for eight months prior to bottling in December 2023.
TASTING NOTE: Lemon yellow in colour, this wine delivers aromas of nashi pear, honeysuckle and finger lime with hints of tarragon. The palate is tantalising with lemon sorbet, sea spray, bright acidity and gorgeous minerality. There’s a lick of spice from skin contact and an umami edge to the finish.

2023 Fetherston 'Magnolia' Albariño
'This has seen 18 hours' skin contact before pressing to neutral barrels. Bright green gold, this is another convincing and varietally correct Albariño from Fetherston. Gentle stone fruits, pear skin and honeysuckle lead onto the palate, which is very flavoursome, balanced and dry. Worth checking out.'
