  • 2018 Fetherston 'Magnolia' Garganega Gewürztraminer

'A charismatic white wine from the King Valley that brings together aromas of quince, lemon balm and fresh lime with a palate that shows light puffs of talc-like mineral charm among refreshing fruitiness and a cool, gently savoury and dry finish. Plenty going on here - some exotic and appealing character in tow.'

    2018 Fetherston 'Iris' Chardonnay

'Struck match, yellow peach, lime zest and sweet citrus, plus a cashew richness to ground it. It’s zesty and has tang, but also slip and gloss, juicy almost fresh pineapple flavour, a little spice and chalky feel, and a rich but tight finish of good length. A bit of talc and zip in the aftertaste. This is right in the slot for drinking now.'

    2019 Fetherston 'Fungi' Pinot Noir

'There’s certainly an Italianate feel about this wine, which instantly gets my attention. Cherry, spice, hinting at liquorice, a rosy perfume in with that. It’s fleshy, but shapely, medium-bodied, rich in fruit and slightly earthy, cherry-cola thing, light tannin, and a fine tannin finish of fair length. Great drink. Love it. Recommended.'

    2019 Fetherston 'Peony' Rosé

'So very nicely done. It's pale, has a bit of tangerine tang, but slides along soft, cool and gently creamy. Light aniseed perfume, redcurrant and spice, a fine peppery texture, and a clean long finish. Lovely composition. Classy drinking'

    2017 Fetherston 'Sakura' Syrah Nebbiolo

'It’s a light, spicy, structural wine with juicy berry flavours and infusions of mocha and dry licorice. If that doesn’t sound overly savoury then let me correct the impression: this is a savoury, frisky red, the palate built more on acid and tannin than it is on fruit.'

    2018 Fetherston Chardonnay

'Struck match, nectarine, grapefruit and cashew nut. It’s silky, juicy, a little saline, citrus cut of acidity, smoky flinty highlights, along with some gloss and glide, fruit flavour is assured and the finish is has energy and ripe grapefruit tang to close. Nicely done. Layered and very tasty.'

    2017 Fetherston Pinot Noir

'Raspberry, brown spices, almost chocolaty, with a mint and dried herb perfume. Medium-bodied, graphite tannin, good amount of crunch and savoury spice, rhubarb, cool acidity, generous flavour and a long dry wheaty amaro tinged finale. Earth and grip. A lot of character and interest. And as a closing remark, I really like how emphatic it is through the finish.'
